As a crypto API provider, part of our job is to understand what other providers build. We review public documentation, pricing, product flows, and evidence we can verify. This review explains what we confirmed about Roqqu, where it may fit, and its important limits.
This review covers public information only. We did not use an account to test Roqqu response times, settlement speed, support, uptime, or production behaviour.

How Breet Compares
Roqqu provides wallets, trading, swaps, customer controls, and market data. Breet removes those exchange operations when the business only needs to accept crypto and receive settled funds.
- Accept 12+ supported crypto assets using permanent or single-use wallet addresses.
- Convert deposits automatically after blockchain confirmation.
- Keep funds in stablecoins or USD, or settle directly to an NGN or GHS bank account.
- Withdraw through the API or Breet business dashboard at any time.
- Avoid liquidity management and wallet sweeping.
- Pay one volume-based transaction fee with no separate setup, monthly, or wallet-sweeping fees and no gas fee for receiving crypto.
- Test integrations in a public sandbox with webhooks, live asset discovery, and clear API documentation.
- Get direct integration support through dedicated Slack channel support.
Wallets, Deposits, and Transactions
Roqqu can generate wallets, return addresses, send crypto, identify networks, and return transaction history. The transaction group includes deposit and withdrawal records, transaction status, reference searches, blockchain-hash searches, requery operations, and refund functions.
The webhook section provides real-time status notifications and a sample for decrypting webhook bodies with AES-256-CTR.
The current portal lists seven mainnet protocols: Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Tron, Solana, XRP, and Litecoin. Use the live token endpoint to confirm the asset and network available for each planned flow.
Roqqu's consumer site promotes more than 120 assets, but that number should not be treated as the API's guaranteed live acceptance list. Product access and API network support are different claims.
Trading and Market Data
Trading is a major reason to choose Roqqu. The API has direct buy, sell, and swap endpoints. It also returns token information, crypto prices, and fiat exchange rates.
If your roadmap includes customer trading or crypto-to-crypto swaps, Roqqu has the clearer product fit. If it ends at an African bank account, compare the full settlement route before deciding.
Customer Controls and Analytics
Roqqu provides customer endpoints for listing, blacklisting, and whitelisting customers. It also offers analytics for volume, wallet generation, wallet activity, and transaction statistics.
These tools can help a platform manage user-level access and monitor product activity. IP allowlisting restricts API access to trusted addresses. Secret keys must remain on the server.
Test Mode and Documentation Quality
The current portal documents a Test mode for integration work and a Live mode for production. That is a material improvement over relying on live funds during development.
An older developer portal remains visible in search, with many pages last updated more than five years ago. Use the newer Redocly portal and confirm any legacy endpoint before relying on it.
Roqqu API Pricing
Roqqu does not publish a comparable API transaction fee on the pages reviewed. Its current terms say applicable fees are disclosed in the platform or communicated before a transaction is confirmed.
- the fee or spread applied to the incoming asset;
- conversion or trade costs;
- the local payout step;
- any monthly or minimum commitment;
- the final NGN or GHS amount received.
Nigeria, Ghana, and Bank Settlement
Roqqu is clearly active in Nigeria. Its Nigerian terms identify Roqqu Nigeria Limited, and its wider product supports digital-asset and fiat functions.
The current API portal does not show a complete automatic route in which a third-party customer sends crypto, Roqqu converts it, and NGN lands in a selected bank account. Direct GHS bank settlement is also not confirmed in the current API material.
This does not prove those routes are unavailable. It means a buyer should get written confirmation, including the endpoint, supported legal entity, payout account rules, timing, and fee.
Legal and Regulatory Position
Roqqu's site describes UAB Roqqu Technologies as a Lithuanian Virtual Asset Service Provider. The current Nigerian terms apply through Roqqu Nigeria Limited.
We did not find a current Nigerian SEC register entry in the reviewed public sources that supports calling Roqqu SEC-licensed. Confirm the contracting entity, regulated activity, and country scope during onboarding.
What Roqqu Does Well
- a wide set of wallet and exchange functions;
- current buy, sell, and swap endpoints;
- seven listed mainnet protocols;
- Test and Live modes;
- encrypted webhooks, IP controls, and analytics;
- a local Nigerian operating presence.
Important Limits and Trade-Offs
- A comparable API price is not public.
- The older documentation remains indexed beside the current portal.
- Direct GHS bank settlement is not publicly confirmed.
- A complete automated crypto-to-NGN-bank route needs account confirmation.
- The buyer must define more product logic than with a focused payment API.
Who should choose the Roqqu API?
Roqqu is relevant when your product needs:
- Wallet balances and sends;
- Crypto buy, sell, and swap functions;
- Customer access controls;
- Transaction and wallet analytics;
- Market rates and token information;
- A Nigerian exchange-led service;
- One API spanning several crypto-account functions.
Final Verdict on the Roqqu API
Roqqu fits an exchange or wallet product that needs trading, swaps, customer controls, analytics, and broad crypto-account functions. Buyers should confirm business API pricing, current supported routes, and bank-settlement availability before committing.
However, if you only want to receive crypto from users, settle in stablecoins, NGN, or GHS, and withdraw at any time without managing trading, liquidity, gas fees, or wallet sweeping, try Breet API.
