What Does the Triple-A API Do?

The Triple-A developer portal groups the product into three core capabilities:

  • Stablecoin Payment API. Accept customer payments and settle in local currencies.
  • Stablecoin Payout API. Pay companies or individuals in stablecoins, funded with local currency.
  • Local Currency Payout API. Pay beneficiaries in local currency, funded with stablecoins or local currency.

It can manage incoming customer payments and outgoing beneficiary payments for commerce, platforms, payroll, remittance, and treasury teams.

Payment Assets and Networks

Triple-A's current help centre lists five payment assets:

USDTEthereum, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Solana
USDCEthereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Solana
BTCBitcoin and Lightning
ETHEthereum
PYUSDEthereum

NGN, GHS, and Global Coverage

Triple-A's global coverage page lists Nigeria, NGN, bank account, and instant. It states that payouts are available in more than 70 countries.

Its settlement-currency help page lists 47 currencies for crypto payment requests. Both NGN and GHS appear in that list.

Nigeria has a named bank route and timing. GHS is confirmed as a settlement currency, but the public payout table does not give the same Ghana bank detail. Confirm the destination, timing, limits, and entity.

Checkout, Payouts, and Operations

Triple-A supports API payment requests, a hosted page, an on-page iFrame, webhooks, and a test environment. Developer material covers sandbox setup before production.

Local-currency payouts need beneficiary data. Delivery may be instant, same day, or next day, depending on country and method.

This breadth can reduce the number of global providers, but it can be more product than a focused local flow needs.

Triple-A Fees Explained

Triple-A does not publish one standard merchant rate. Its US disclosure says a service fee can vary by method, size, market conditions, and location. This is not a complete enterprise price schedule.

Older Triple-A pages mention a flat 0.8% fee, but those pages date from 2019 to 2021. They are not a safe basis for a 2026 buying decision.

Developer Experience

Triple-A provides a sandbox, API references, webhooks, and hosted payment options. Production access follows business review and Know Your Business checks.

Compliance and Regulatory Coverage

Triple-A lists a Singapore Major Payment Institution, an EU payment institution and French Crypto-Asset Service Provider, a US FinCEN Money Services Business with state licences, and Canadian FINTRAC and Bank of Canada registrations.

What Triple-A Does Well

  • Payment acceptance, stablecoin payout, and local-currency payout APIs.
  • Five current payment assets across major networks.
  • Bitcoin Lightning support.
  • NGN instant bank payout in the public coverage table.
  • GHS in the public settlement-currency list.
  • Broad global country and currency coverage.
  • Hosted, iFrame, API, webhook, and sandbox options.

Important Limits and Trade-Offs

  • Standard merchant transaction pricing is not public.
  • GHS bank-route details are less explicit than the NGN route.
  • Route timing, limits, and access vary by country and account.
  • Production access and some payout functions require activation.

Who should choose the Triple-A API?

Triple-A is relevant when you need:

  • Payment acceptance and outbound payouts from one provider;
  • Broad global bank-payout coverage;
  • BTC Lightning support;
  • Regulated entities across Singapore, the EU, the US, and Canada;
  • Hosted, iFrame, API, and commerce-extension options;
  • Local-currency and stablecoin payout products;
  • More than Nigeria and Ghana as core markets.

Final Verdict on the Triple-A API

Triple-A supports global reach, regulated-market coverage, Bitcoin Lightning, and combined payment and payout tools. it suits businesses that need global payment orchestration and can obtain route-specific pricing and coverage confirmation.

However, if you want a focused way to receive crypto and settle in stablecoins, NGN, or GHS without managing a global payment-orchestration stack, gas fees, or wallet sweeping, try Breet API.
