My Experience Trading USDT on NoOnes P2P

Hi, my name is Demilade and I was part of the traders selected to carry out Breet’s P2P research. I was assigned to use NoOnes P2P platform and complete three transactions (although I was only able to complete 2). Here is a summary of my experience based on the activities I carried out.

Navigating NoOnes P2P as a First-time User: My Honest Review

For my first transaction, it took me some time to find the section where I could sell my USDT.

The filters didn’t narrow down the results the way I expected, so I ended up checking multiple areas before locating the option that matched what I needed.

While exploring the platform, I tried locating customer support. I eventually found a support link, but when I opened it, it displayed a blank page. At that point, I wasn’t able to access additional assistance through that channel.

NoOnes P2P Verification Process

To proceed with trading, I only needed to verify my email address.

I wasn’t required to complete any additional identity verification steps. The trade itself went through without a dispute, although the conversation with the trader was brief and didn’t feel very interactive.

App Availability and Website Access

During this process, I noticed the platform wasn’t available on the Apple App Store. I also accessed the website directly on several occasions, and a few times I received a “site cannot be reached” message before it eventually loaded. My connection was stable on other sites during those moments.

My Second Trade on NoOnes P2P

For my second transaction, I searched for a USDT buyer and spent several minutes selecting someone whose offer matched the amount I wanted to sell.

After the trade began, the vendor cancelled midway, explaining that they didn’t have enough funds available to complete the payment. The trade ended there without any dispute. (Screenshot below)

At that point, I didn’t have an active support option to consult, so I simply restarted my search for another vendor.

Overall Observation of my Trading Experience on Noones P2P

Across the transactions I carried out, most of my time was spent locating the right sections, finding working links, and selecting traders who could complete the process from start to finish.

The trades themselves didn’t escalate into disputes, but the steps leading up to them required continual navigation through different areas of the platform.

My Experience Using Noones P2P: A Review of 2 Transactions (Second Participant)

Hello, My name is Funmilayo, and here’s my experience trading on Noones P2P platform.

Getting Verified on Noones P2P

Noones offered multiple verification options, which I found helpful. I could choose from a passport, NIN, driver’s license, or voter’s card. I submitted my NIN, and the platform immediately requested a facial verification check.

The process was surprisingly fast. Within about 5 minutes, both the document review and the face match were completed, and my account was fully verified. It was a quick and straightforward onboarding experience.

First Trade: Smooth from Start to Finish

For my first trade, I sold 19.946774 USDT, which was valued at ₦28,734.25 based on the order details on the platform. After confirming the trade, the buyer paid immediately and uploaded proof of payment right away.

I received the money in my bank account within roughly 7 minutes from the time I initiated the transaction. Once I confirmed the payment, Noones marked the trade as completed in under 2 minutes.

An interesting part of the transaction was the payout. I received ₦29,000, which was higher than the expected amount in the summary. Everything moved quickly and without delays, making this first trade straightforward.

Second Trade on Noones P2P: A Dispute Triggered by a Fake Receipt

My second trade started just as fast as the first. The buyer updated the trade as “paid” almost immediately after opening it, which was suspicious. He then sent fake alerts which I informed him about.

He also lied and tried to pretend that he had sent it.

I immediately disputed the transaction which was probably sent to him. This went on for about an hour before he finally sent the money and original receipts.

Prior, instead of sending the actual money, he uploaded a fake receipt.

The platform responded instantly. I received a clear alert informing me that the buyer had marked the transaction as paid even though the payment wasn’t confirmed.

Noones also prompted me to open a dispute, and the dispute button was visible and easy to access.

Once I submitted the dispute, the platform notified both of us that someone would attend to the case.

It seems the prompt warning from Noones caused the buyer to panic because he then proceeded to send the real payment and followed it up with the correct receipt almost immediately.

After I got the actual money, the dispute was automatically resolved. The process was direct, and the platform’s alerts helped prevent a possible scam.
